Service Introduction
HUAWEI Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM) is a dynamic tag management system. With DTM, you can dynamically update tracking tags on a web-based UI to track specific events and report data to third-party analytics platforms, tracking your marketing activity data as needed. HUAWEI DTM Plugin allows you to report your events to other platforms simultaneously via Custom Tags.
Use Cases
With DTM, you can set tags to report data to an analytics platform. You can then check whether the ads your users receive are relevant to their interests, and continuously optimize your ad delivery.
Here, the Adjust platform is used as an example.
The use case is described as follows:
You deliver an ad advertising your app to the ad platform.
A user taps the ad, and downloads and uses your app.
You use DTM to set the reporting rules for the tag, and release a configuration version.
The app automatically updates the configuration and reports data to the Adjust platform. You do not need to change the source code.
You check the monitoring results on the Adjust platform and optimize your ad delivery.

Privacy Statement
When using HUAWEI DTM and processing personal data of your users in connection with HUAWEI DTM, you commit to doing so in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and agreements concluded between you and Huawei, such as the Agreement on Use of Huawei APIs and HUAWEI Developer Service Agreement.
- User consent
To use HUAWEI DTM, clearly identify parties who may collect, receive, or use personal data of end users due to your use of HUAWEI DTM. You need to disclose these parties to end users, and inform end users of the personal data collected by said parties and their purposes of use for the personal data. You need to obtain and record end users' valid consent for, for example, the use of cookies or similar technologies, where applicable. You need to record those consents and provide end users with the capability to withdraw their consent.
If you do not conform to this statement, your use of HUAWEI DTM may be restricted or suspended.
- Constraints
You may not upload information that can identify users (such as name, email address, device identifiers or invoice) to the DTM server.
- User experience improvement program
Huawei may collect and process information about how HUAWEI DTM is used and how frequently it is used for the purpose of improving and maintaining HUAWEI DTM. Huawei will not share the information with third parties without your consent, unless those third parties are operating under contract and acting of our behalf.
