Event Analysis

Two videos are provided in this section: basic and advanced. The basic part describes how to use the basic functions of event analysis, including how to view event reports.

The advanced part describes how to use the advanced functions of event analysis, including how to add predefined and custom events and how to combine event analysis with audience insight to facilitate precise operations.

Function Overview

An event describes the behavior of a user on a product. In brief, it refers to a specific event that a user completes at a specific time point, in a specific place, and in a specific way. For instance, for an e-commerce app, events include touching a registration button as well as accessing and exiting a product details page. Event monitoring and analysis, essentially, is to analyze user behavior in an app.

Event analysis is to reveal the motivation and rule of a user behavior event, helping you gain insight into user characteristics from multiple dimensions to accurately formulate a strategy to enhance user activity, improve retention, or win back churned users.

Typical Application Scenarios

  • Gain in-depth insight into user behavior characteristics from multiple dimensions.
  • Conduct drill-down analysis of behavior data for different user groups.
  • Keep an eye on changes in user behavior and detect growth opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Flexibly define audiences based on user attributes to implement precise targeting and operations.
  • Analyze attribution information from the user, session, and event aspects.

How to Use

Case
