The Audio Recommendations service aims to simplify user interactions and deliver tailored content suggestions, enabling users to easily find content of interest and facilitating seamless access to services directly from system-level access points.
This service optimizes the allocation of recommendation slots based on how users engage with audio applications, prioritizing visibility for the applications frequently used.
In addition, it leverages users' music preferences for precise content recommendations, with content providers contributing their material to Media Controller via cloud-based interfaces.
Recommendation Slot Allocation Rules
As a public system-level entry, the Audio Recommendations service of Media Controller is designed to ensure equitable distribution of resources that align with user expectations.
Target applications: applications that fall into the "Entertainment - Music" and "Entertainment - Radio" categories on AppGallery.
Allocation rules: The allocation is determined by the total usage time of applications by users over the past 30 days. Applications that are used more frequently and for longer durations will be allocated more slots. For example, if a user predominantly uses application A, then application A will be granted the most prominent slots for increased visibility.
How to Access
Access to the Audio Recommendations service is limited and requires prior application. To use this service, submit a request via email to Huawei operations team. They will arrange a dedicated contact person to assist you within 5 working days.
