Huawei NB-IoT chip carries the lightweight kernel provided by LiteOS, which combines sensor and connectivity capabilities. This enables the chip to transmit data, while parking sensing algorithms and parking apps can be deployed in the NB-IoT chip based on the open APIs of Huawei LiteOS. The Huawei LiteOS sensing framework also optimizes the performance and efficiency of parking sensing algorithms, and eliminates unnecessary micro control units (MCUs), memory devices, and storage devices.
Huawei LiteOS connectivity protocol stack interacts with Huawei OceanConnect connection management platform by default. In addition to plug-and-play support of smart parking devices, this protocol stack works with the OceanConnect connection management platform to complete upgrades of firmware, algorithms, and apps, which lowers the O&M cost of a parking system.
With the lightweight platform, dynamic and distributed loading technology, and run-stop mechanism, Huawei LiteOS limits the standby power consumption of the entire software stack to an ultra-low level and supports smart parking devices running at extremely low power.

Huawei LiteOS provides open APIs, app framework, and middleware to help its partners launch innovative services. For example, different sensing capabilities, such as parking sensing, vibration sensing, and portrait sensing can be interlinked to achieve multi-sensor coordination. The short- and long-distance communication and multi-app connectivity enable innovative services, such as parking protection, accident check, and automatic parking assistance. These innovative services offer users more choices and an enhanced service experience, further increasing service income.
