The Ads SDK is a set of open capabilities and services provided by Huawei Software Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei", "we", "us", or "our") for app developers (hereinafter referred to as "developers") to monetize traffic.
After developers integrate the Ads SDK into their apps by referring to the relevant development documentation, we will provide services for end users (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "users") of the developers' apps and process necessary data related to those apps, which may involve your data. Huawei takes your personal data and privacy seriously and is committed to taking appropriate security measures to protect your personal data in accordance with relevant laws and established industry security standards. This statement will explain to you how we collect, use, disclose, protect, store, and transmit your personal data. For details about how other HMS Core services collect and use personal data, please refer to HMS Core Privacy Statement.
注意
We require all developers who have integrated the Ads SDK to strictly comply with applicable laws and regulations, Petal Ads Publisher Service Agreement, and requirements in the Ads SDK Compliance Guide when processing your personal data. Before developers integrate and use our open capabilities, we require developers to notify you of basic information about personal data processed by the integrated SDK in their apps' privacy policies and obtain your consent or other legal basis. However, we are unable to control how developers and their apps process your personal data that they control, and will not be liable for their behavior. We recommend that you carefully read relevant user agreements and privacy policies of developers' apps and use the apps after you fully understand how the developers will process your personal data and accept it.
Personal Data Collection and Use
Huawei will only collect and use your personal data in accordance with the purposes and methods stated in this statement. If we want to use your personal data for purposes stated in this statement, we will explicitly inform you about this ourselves or through developers, and obtain your consent again or other legal bases. If the SDK has extended functions or collects and uses optional personal data, we will state this below.
Ad Display Service, Prevention of Fraud and Other Malicious Behavior, and Attribution Tracking
To display ads, prevent fraud and other malicious behavior, and track attributions, the Ads SDK may collect and process necessary personal information including the device identifier (OAID), device information (device model, device hardware information, operating system, system settings, and device use information), basic app information, app settings, app use information, sensor information (gyroscope, accelerometer, rotation vector sensor, magnetometer, and barometer), network information, carrier information, IP address, and ad interaction information, as well as optional personal information including the device identifier (Android ID) and WLAN information (Wi-Fi status, Wi-Fi parameters, Wi-Fi list, BSSID, and SSID).
Personalized Ad Service
To provide a personalized ad service, the SDK may collect and process necessary personal data, such as the device identifiers (OAID and Android ID) and app settings.
Additionally, if the app has obtained location permission and enabled location-based ads, the SDK will provide these ads using optional location information based on your/developer's configurations, which may include precise location, Bluetooth list, and WLAN information to determine the device's approximate location (if available). The SDK and its services will not store precise location information, and will only use it to determine the approximate device location, such as college and business district information.
This function is an extended function of the SDK and we have provided SDK developers with the capability to configure the function.
Required Permissions
When you use relevant functions and services, we will ask you for necessary device permissions through developers' apps. To manage the permissions for an app, you can go to the device settings or privacy settings menu on your device and choose which ones you want to allow or deny.
When integrating and using our open capabilities, developers will determine the required permissions by themselves. Therefore, developers should notify you of the requested permissions and purposes for requesting the permissions. If you enable any permission that the developer's app requests, it means that you authorize us to process your personal data in order to enjoy our services. Once you disable any permission, it means that you revoke the authorization and we will not process your personal data anymore based on the permission. In this case, we may not be able to continue offering you the service corresponding to the permission. Note that your decision to disable any permission will not affect the validity of the personal data processing activities that were previously conducted based on your authorization.
