Free registration for developer account and app publishing is available for all students. Students can access free learning materials published on HUAWEI Developer Forum and Training Platform, build profiles & networks within the developers' community, and explore opportunities to participate in global contests and become a HSD ambassador. Additionally, they can gain advanced technical skills from industry experts through training, exam, and certification on HMS Foundation, technical guidance to practical app development, and blog writing. Faculty members can inturn share the knowledge with the students and developers across the globe. It covers topics such as HMS, HMOS and cross platform technologies (React Native, Unity, etc.).

HMS Foundation Course

A 5-weeks instructor-led online training and certification course on mobile application development using Huawei Mobile services that allows students and professors to take examinations and utilize learning resources for free (limited time only). It focuses on practical application development and deployment supported by HMS Core Kits, with a free content library such as Huawei Codelab, Huawei Developer Forum articles, sample code, assignments, and training videos available for all.

Train-the-Trainer Program

A 10-sessions course designed for the faculty members where experts from Huawei provide training for professors, who can, in turn, impart new knowledge with the students and developers across the globe. It covers topics such as HMS, HMOS, and platform technologies (React Native, Unity, etc.).

Minimum Requirements

Requirement for Webinar
Minimum attendance of 500 students (sessions with below 500 students will be merged with other institute).
Requirement for HMS Foundation Course
Minimum attendance of 200 students are required to start the foundation course.

Q1: Who should apply for the Academic Collaboration Program?
Dean, professors, or lecturers of any IHLs are welcome to apply for the program.
Q2: Is there any cost attached to 5 week foundation course, Exam and certification?
Currently Course, Exam and certification is absolutely free for all students, Alumni’s and Faculty members.
Q3: Is this program only available for IT/CS background students/faculty?
Students/Faculty from all streams and years can join this course. This can be very valuable for the students to decide their future carrier path
