HUAWEI Developer Spring Festival 2019 Holiday Service Adjustment Announcement

Dear Developer, 


Thank you for your long-standing support for HUAWEI Developer. The most important Chinese festival, the Spring Festival, is coming and the holiday schedule for HUAWEI Developer services is as detailed below. Please understand if schedule adjustments bring your business any inconvenience. 

Note: The times below are all in the UTC+8 time zone. 


I. Identity Verification and Merchant Verification Review 

During the Spring Festival period, the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation will be on holiday. If you are an enterprise developer, please submit the verification application before February 1st. Otherwise, your application will be reviewed starting from February 11th. If you are an individual developer, your identity verification will not be affected. During the holiday period, all merchant verification review will also be unaffected. 


II. Release, Removal, and Update of Apps (Including Games) 

Apps (including games) will be released according to the sequence of their submission. During the Spring Festival period (February 4th to February 10th), review of app release, removal, and update will be temporarily paused. 


III. Themes 

  1. Themes Release Review 

    Themes uploaded before January 31st will be reviewed before the Spring Festival, while themes uploaded between January 31st and February 10th will be reviewed in sequence starting from February 11th. The review process is expected to be complete by February 23rd. Themes uploaded after the holiday will not be affected. 

  2. Designer Review (Paid Themes Uploading Permission/Whitelist Activation) 

    Permission applications for paid theme uploading (whitelist activation) submitted on or before February 1st will be reviewed before the Spring Festival period, while applications submitted between February 1st and February 10th will be reviewed in sequence of emails received starting from February 11th. The review process is expected to be complete by February 20th. Permission applications uploaded after the holiday will not be affected. 


IV. First Launch (Mainland China Only) 

  1. First Launch of Apps 

    You can apply for first launch if the launch date of your app is earlier than February 4th or later than February 10th. First launch display resource in AppGallery will be temporarily unavailable between February 4th and February 10th, but you can still submit first launch applications in the HUAWEI Developer Console during this time and apply for first launch resource available starting from February 11th. 

  2. First Launch of Games and Closed Beta Test 

    Please submit your game first launch or closed beta test applications before January 30th if the date of your launch or test is between February 1st and February 14th. Resource slot display will be temporarily unavailable between February 4th and February 10th. 

  3. Pre-order of Games 

    Please submit your pre-order applications or material updates before February 1st if the pre-order date is between February 3rd and February 10th. Applications submitted after February 1st will be reviewed starting from February 11 according to the sequence of their submission. 


V. Paid Promotion 

  1. Promotion 

    The paid promotion platform will be in operation as normal over the Spring Festival period. To ensure normal app promotion, please top up your promotion services account ahead of time (it is recommended that you top up your account with sufficient funds to last to February 14th, 2019). 

  2. Top-Up 

    Please make sure you top up your account for the Spring Festival period before February 1st, 2019 at 18:00. Top-up submissions completed before this date will be approved by February 3rd, 2019, while submissions received after this date will be approved starting February 11th, 2019. (Notice: Transfers your company makes to HUAWEI take 1 to 2 working days to arrive in HUAWEI's account.) 

  3. Paid Promotion 

    Review For the Spring Festival period, please submit paid promotion applications for review by February 1st, 2019 at 18:00. Applications submitted by this date will be reviewed by February 3rd, 2019, while applications received after this date will begin their review process on February 11th, 2019. 


VI. Joint Operation 

  1. Technical Support

    Technical support for joint-operation app SDK integration will be available until February 3rd. Please submit your review application before then. Apps will be released according to the sequence of their submission. 

  2. Account Reconciliation and Settlement 

    During the period from February 4th to February 10th, the reconciliation and settlement services will be temporarily paused. All reconciliation and settlement will start on February 11th. Please refer to the settlement sheet for specific revenue time.


VII. Event Application (Mainland China Only) 

  1. Open Events for Apps 

    Please submit your event application on or before January 25th if the date of your event is between February 1st and February 10th. If the date of your event is between February 11th and February 15th, please submit your event application on or before January 31st. 

  2. Monthly Joint Events for Apps 

    You can sign up for monthly joint online events to be held March between February 1 and February 7. 

  3. Events for Games 

    Please submit your event application on or before January 25th if the date of your event is between February 1st and February 10th. If the date of your event is between February 11th and February 15th, please submit your event application on or before January 31st. 


VIII. Gift Application 

For activities to be carried out between February 1st and February 10th, please submit gift applications on or before January 25th. For activities to be carried out from February 11th to February 15th, please submit gift applications on or before January 31st.
