Dear developer,
AppGallery started to display privacy tag information in November 2021, to help users quickly learn about how an app collects and processes their personal information, for the purpose of protecting user privacy. Since July 28, 2022, if you need to release a new app or update your app in AppGallery Connect, and your app collects or processes personal information or has integrated any SDK or component that does so, you should set privacy tags to state your purpose and scope of personal information collection and processing. Then users will be able to check privacy collection and processing details on the details page of your app on AppGallery.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate privacy policy and privacy tags, which will be displayed on AppGallery. If privacy tags that you set are incomplete or inaccurate, your app release or update request may be rejected.
This requirement will be publicized on June 28, 2022 and will take effect on July 28, 2022.
If you have any questions, please refer to the AppGallery Privacy Tag Service Description or contact us via the interaction center of AppGallery Connect. Thank you!
