Service Introduction
The API gateway of AppGallery Connect provides a robust API hosting service. It can encapsulate capabilities from diverse sources, such as cloud functions and your own web services, into APIs. With the API gateway, you can create, maintain, and publish APIs throughout the API lifecycle at ease.

How the Service Works
The API gateway allows you to create and publish an API in AppGallery Connect. A published API will be hosted in the API gateway for apps and microservices to access. When receiving an access request from an app or a microservice, the API gateway routes the request to different API sources based on API configurations, that is, to different types of cloud services. Then, the API gateway obtains data or resources from the response and sends them back to the app or microservice.
Pricing
The API gateway is free of charge now for promotion. You will be charged based on your actual resource usage in future. We will inform you of the detailed pricing policies at least one month in advance of formal charging through emails or notifications in the interaction center.

Privacy Statement
When using the API gateway, please comply with HUAWEI Developers Service Agreement, Agreement on Use of Huawei APIs, HUAWEI AppGallery Connect Serverless Service Agreement, and AppGallery Connect Data Processing Addendum. The API gateway only forwards requests and responses based on the rules you set and does not parse, process, or store information (such as user data) in the requests and responses.
