Authorized Sellers for Apps (or app-ads.txt) is an IAB program that helps protect your app ad resources from ad fraud.
You can create an app-ads.txt file to specify sellers who are authorized to sell your app ad inventory, which helps you receive ad spend that might have otherwise gone toward counterfeit inventory of spoofed apps.
The app-ads.txt file is publicly available and crawlable by ad exchanges, supply-side platforms (SSP), and other buyers.
The app-ads.txt file is not mandatory, but is highly recommended if you are worried that others might be spoofing your app.

The app-ads.txt file must be formatted as specified by the IAB Tech Lab in order to be verified. If you need other help, refer to the Authorized Sellers for Apps specification provided by the IAB Tech Lab.

If you want to add other authorized seller IDs to the app-ads.txt file, add these sellers' website URLs to the file so that they can find and verify your app-ads.txt file. Contact these sellers for their app-ads.txt information.
Wait at least 48 hours for the status of the app-ads.txt file to update.
After the app is added, the app information in the file will be synchronized on the app-ads.txt page.
