The following developer policies help ensure service quality so that we can better work together to continuously distribute and promote more high-quality innovations and products to hundreds of millions of users of Huawei devices through HUAWEI AppGallery Connect, GameCenter, HUAWEI Themes, HUAWEI Ads, and so on. The following content provides a quick overview of our policies.

1. Account Policies

Your HUAWEI ID is an all-in-one pass that allows you to sign in to and use all Huawei Mobile Services. Policies relating to your HUAWEI ID are as follows.

Account management	After registering an account, you can change your account, change your password, reset your password, set a security phone number or email, or delete your account. Account management	You can change your legal identity name or modify basic information. 1. The following basic information can be modified: the state/province, city/town, address, postal code, and HQ phone number in the identity information, as well as the name, job title, business phone, and business email in the contact information. 2. Changes to the name, job title, business phone, and HQ number will be automatically reviewed and take effect immediately. 3. Team Account	Roles and permissions: As an enterprise or individual developer, you are automatically a team account holder once you have completed identity verification in HUAWEI Developers. You have all permissions for the HUAWEI Developers console, AppGallery Connect, and open capabilities. You can add members to your team and specify different roles (such as developer, operations, and finance) for assigning them different permissions.	Click here to view details.
Merchant Service	Tax rates: If you plan to distribute your products in a country or region listed in Part 2 or Part 3 of Exhibit A in the HUAWEI Developers Merchant Service Agreement, the applicable VAT/GST/Service tax rates are listed in the table. Payment Service	Prerequisites: 1. You have completed all necessary steps in Registration and Verification. 2. You have prepared your company address, tax qualification, and business email. 2. App Policies

AppGallery is Huawei's official app distribution platform. Users can use AppGallery on their Huawei mobile devices to search for, download, manage, and share mobile apps. AppGallery features a four-layer detection mechanism to ensure that apps featured on the platform are safe to download and use. Policies relating to your apps are as follows.

App Naming	The app naming standards are as follows: 1. Your app name must be recognizable, with the length being between 3 and 64 characters without special characters such as asterisks (*) and ampersands (&). 2. App names must be suitable for all audiences, without containing content from other device brands, mobile app platforms, or content that violates the laws, regulations, and policies of the countries or regions where the apps are to be released. 3. App Rejection (Security Issues)	An app may be rejected if it does not meet security requirements. The following lists several examples of the requirements: 1. Must not contain viruses. 2. Must not contain unauthorized payments. 3. Must not require unnecessary phone permissions that threaten user privacy. 4. Must not automatically open background services. 5. App Rejection (Functionality Issues)	An app may be rejected if it does not meet functionality requirements. The following lists several examples of the requirements: 1. Must not have the following issues: Unable to install or uninstall, frequent errors, and failures during testing. 2. Important functions must be able to be carried out. 3. Must have high compatibility (firmware/model/screen, and more).
App Rejection (Content Issues)	An app may be rejected if it does not meet content requirements. The following lists several examples of the requirements: 1. Do not submit multiple apps with a high amount of similar content. 2. Your app must not be a collection of website pages, developed from templates, a combination of third-party content, or lists of links.

3. HUAWEI AppGallery Paid Promotion Policies

Built on its large user base, HUAWEI AppGallery provides Android users with a secure and high-quality download service.

Ranked highly for the amount of available apps, distributed games, and user quality, HUAWEI AppGallery provides a convenient and high-quality platform for various app developers and is committed to building a fair, targeted, and efficient release channel to increase app exposure and downloads. Policies relating to HUAWEI AppGallery Paid Promotion are as follows.

App Review	The paid promotion service is available only to apps that meet specified requirements.
Invoicing	An invoice can only be issued to the payer (company). Make sure that the payer name is the same as the company name you have used when registering with HUAWEI Developers.

4. HUAWEI Ads Policies

HUAWEI Ads is provided by Huawei for pan-ecosystem partners. It aims to help partners set up a communication bridge with Huawei device users so they can provide valuable information and quality services for users. Policies related to HUAWEI Ads are as follows.

Paid Presentation Service	Top-up: 1. After the bank transfer is completed, you need to enter the top-up information in HUAWEI Ads and submit the proof of payment for review. 2. The entered top-up amount must be the same as the actual received amount.

Publisher Service	The platform promises that all its behavior, policies, and regulations comply with local laws.
