Push Kit Personal Data Processing Information

In personal data processing of HUAWEI Push Kit, Huawei serves as the end user data processor, and the developer serves as the end user data controller. For appropriate and legal processing of personal data, the following are provided:

Guidance for the developer to help the end user control personal data
1. List of Personal Data Processed by Huawei
Personal Data | Processing Purpose | Retention Period |
AAID | Identifies the app instance on an end user's device. | The data will be automatically deleted if the end user does not connect to the HUAWEI Push Kit server within one year. The developer can also delete the data by calling the API as needed. |
Push Token | Used for pushing messages to an app on an end user's device. | |
Topic name | Used for pushing messages to the end user who has subscribed to a topic. | The data will be automatically deleted if the end user does not connect to the HUAWEI Push Kit server within six months. The developer can also delete the data by calling the API as needed. |
2. Guidance for the Developer to Help the End User Control Personal Data
2.1 How to Clear the End User's Personal Data
The associations between topics and end users are managed by the developer and stored on the HUAWEI Push Kit server for at most six months. Once the retention period expires, the associations will be deleted. You (developer) can call the Deleting Data as a Data Controller API to delete the associations anytime when necessary.

2.2 How to Export the End User's Personal Data
You can call the Querying Data as a Data Controller API to obtain a copy of user data in HUAWEI Push Kit. For details, please refer to the development guide.
