Content overview
1. Checking the App Category
Before starting the development process, check that the app type that you have created on HUAWEI Developer is Game. Please refer to the following methods to confirm:
Sign in to AppGallery Connect and select My apps.
Find your app from the list, and click the link under Android App in the Mobile phone column.
Click the Distribute tab. From the navigation bar to the left, go to Release app > App information. Check that App Category is set to Game.
Note:
If the App Category value is not Game, create a new app by referring to Creating an App and apply for the app's required services.
2. Checking the Signing Certificate Configuration
Check that the signing certificate for your app has been created, and that the corresponding signing certificate fingerprint has been configured. For details, please refer to Configuring the Signing Certificate Fingerprint.
Make sure that the app's required HUAWEI Account Kit, IAP, and Game services have been enabled. For details about how to enable these services, please refer to Enabling Required Services.
Make sure that the signing certificate that is used for running and compiling the app is consistent with the signing certificate fingerprint that has been configured in AppGallery Connect. Otherwise, you will fail to access HMS Core (APK).
3. Checking the App Parameters
Check that the app has all of the parameters listed in the following table.
