Getting Started

Quick Tutorial

Before developing your app, you can follow instructions in the codelab to experience how to quickly integrate Analytics Kit into an app.

Development Environment

  • Web app IDE, such as VS Code, Sublime, or WebStorm
  • Package management tool npm and operating environment Node.js
  • Browser, such as Chrome
    NOTE

The Analytics SDK for the web platform is built based on the latest web standards. To make the SDK compatible with browsers and JavaScript environments of earlier versions, you are advised to use Babel. Babel introduces Polyfill based on the browsers you want to support. Polyfill converts code in compliance with the ECMAScript 6 standard into JavaScript code featuring backward compatibility so that the code can run properly in the browser or JavaScript environment of an earlier version. For details about how to use Babel, please refer to the usage guide.
