1 Service Introduction

The route planning function also provides a set of APIs for calculating the distances and journey time of routes between multiple departure places and destinations. The calculated routes include walking, bicycling, and driving routes.

This version provides the following route planning functions:

      Plans a walking route within a distance of 100 kilometers.

      Plans a bicycling route within a distance of 100 kilometers.

      Plans a driving route within a distance of 200 kilometers.

2 Usage Instruction

1. Before using the route planning function, you need to apply for an API key on the HUAWEI Developers website. The procedure is as follows:

a. Sign in to AppGallery Connect and select My apps.

b. Click your app and go to the Develop page.

c. Find API key in the App information area and click Copy to copy the key.

Notice：
If the API key contains special characters, you need to encode it using encodeURI. For example, if the original API key is ABC/DFG+, the conversion result is ABC%2FDFG%2B.


2. The route planning service will be unavailable after the service call quota is used up.
