Glossary

C

[h2]Cluster

An optimization technology that combines multiple markers within a certain range into one cluster icon to solve the display problem when a large number of markers are densely distributed.

D

[h2]DynTrajectories

A function of displaying the vehicle driving route and user movement track in real time.

F

[h2]FlowFieldOverlay

A vector data layer overlaid on the base map, used to display the dynamic flow of wind fields and ocean currents.

G

[h2]Geodesic

A geodesic is the shortest path between two points on the Earth's surface. It is typically used in navigation and geodetic measurements to represent the shortest distance between two points.

H

[h2]Heatmap

A visualization method that displays data density distribution on a map using different colored blocks. It is suitable for scenarios with high data density, such as crowd distribution and hotspot areas.

M

[h2]MassPointOverlay

A layer technology specifically designed for efficiently rendering and displaying a large amount of point data (from dozens to hundreds of thousands) on a map.

[h2]MvtOverlay

A vector data layer overlaid on the base map, suitable for real-time display of weather conditions, merchant markers, vehicle locations, and more.

P

[h2]PointAnnotation

An icon used to mark a location, store, or building on a map. Detailed information can be displayed in an information window.

[h2]Point of Interest (POI)

A landmark or building on a map, used to identify places such as government departments, commercial institutions, tourist attractions, and transportation facilities.

T

[h2]TileOverlay

An image layer overlaid on the base map, which can be transformed along with map operations such as panning, zooming, and rotation.

[h2]TraceOverlay

A ground overlay used to display a trajectory in real time. It is widely used in fields such as logistics tracking, travel navigation, and workout monitoring.

W

[h2]Waypoint

An intermediate point on a planned route, excluding the start and end points. It is used to compute the optimal route that includes multiple waypoints.
