What should I do if an error message is displayed during debugging of the ASCF atomic service in DevEco Studio?

Symptom

An error occurs during debugging of the ASCF atomic service in DevEco Studio. The error message is as follows:

Install Failed: error: failed to install bundle.

code:95683052

error: Failed to install the HAP or HSP because the dependent module does not exist.

Possible Causes

  1. The plugin version is not the latest and the ASCF engine is not installed on the mobile phone; therefore, the HSP of ASCF is not automatically installed.

    To check whether the engine is correctly installed on the mobile phone, run hdc shell bm dump-shared -n com.huawei.hms.ascfruntime.

  2. The HSP of the ASCF engine fails to be automatically installed before the plugin is used to run the ASCF atomic service.

Solution

  1. Check whether the plugin is of the latest version. If not, install the latest plugin by referring to Obtaining the ASCF Plugin.
  2. Search for helloUniapp on HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY or on AppGallery, and run it to automatically install the ASCF engine.
  3. Run hdc shell bm dump-shared -n com.huawei.hms.ascfruntime to check whether the engine has been correctly installed on the mobile phone.
