For music and audiobook applications, the media controller provides a series of quick playback capabilities, including instant cold start playback and access to historical and recommended playlists. The supported audio content for these playlists includes music tracks, audiobook collections, and podcast series. Video and live streaming media do not support the playlist features. Applications select the PlayMusicList intent (for music applications) or PlayAudio intent (for audiobook applications), and register and adapt to the intent call to implement the preceding three features. For details, see Historical Playlists.
Self-check focus: Play a program within the application, close the application by swiping up, and then touch the play button in the media controller. Check whether the application is correctly started for playback and whether the media controller correctly displays the playback information and status.

Self-check focus:
Play multiple songs or albums within the application. Access the media controller, and check whether the playlist is correctly displayed under the playback control card. Touch any playlist entry, and check whether the playback can be switched properly.
Close the application, access the media controller again, and check whether the playlist is correctly displayed under the playback control card. Touch any playlist entry, and check whether the corresponding song or album can be played in cold start mode.
Presentation rules
Applications provide the playlist information to the media controller based on the entry the user selects to play the current audio media. The playlist information includes only the playlist cover (following the same rules as the media cover), title (without subtitles), and unique playlist ID (identifiable within the application for playback).
Interaction rules
Playlists are classified into two types: "Recently Played," which reflects the user's listening history, and "Recommended for You," which consists of personalized suggestions tailored by the application.
If the playback recommendation service is not enabled, only the "Recently Played" list is displayed, showing up to four individual tracks from the user's recent listening history. If multiple audio contents are from the same song, they are recorded as a single playlist entry. A maximum of four recently played playlists can be displayed.
If the user enables audio recommendations, the "Recommended for You" list is displayed, which can showcase up to eight playlist entries curated through algorithmic recommendations.
