The developer version of HarmonyOS 6.0.0(20) was officially released on September 25, 2025.
Based on HarmonyOS 5.1.1(19), HarmonyOS 6.0.0(20) enhances ArkUI component features by adding multiple system components and optimizing component calling details. The Chromium kernel of ArkWeb has been upgraded to version 132 to enhance ArkWeb capabilities. The device-side intelligent Q&A model is now available. The intelligent data retrieval C APIs are added to support vectorization, knowledge retrieval, and knowledge Q&A. MvtOverlay, FlowFieldOverlay, MassPointOverlay, and heat map overlay are added to enhance map capabilities. Marker icons can be generated using custom components. DevEco Studio adds AI-assisted programming to further improve the compilation and build efficiency and optimize memory usage. ArkUI Inspector allows expanding applications in 3D by component, making it easier to view the nesting and occlusion relationships between components.
